There is that old Woody Allen quote form Hanna and her Sisters "If Jesus came back and saw what people were doing in his name he would never stop throwing up." I am very partial to that belief. I can't wait for thousands of years from now when people look at Christianity like we look at polytheism, backward superstition that caused people to act irrationally.
Modern religions are marketed to us like a cool pair of jeans and this is especially true of Christianity. People are making huge sums of money off damnation and getting Saved! All these christians are made to believe that it's them vs the world like they are the 2pac of religions. They are the socs vs the liberal greasers in some eternal rumble that will end in the judging of souls. I just hope that one day they can see that they are manipulated just like the rest of us jerks to buy tons of crap we don't need including lottery tickets with the hope of becoming rich and maybe having our fair say for once. Until then we will just go on bitching about some made up culture war that keeps us buying all that crap that we don't need.
